Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or purchasing from Pirate Cards, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all related policies.
Pricing & Inventory Errors
Despite our best efforts, pricing inaccuracies, inventory discrepancies, and product listing errors may occur.
Pirate Cards reserves the right to cancel, modify, or refuse any order affected by an error. In such cases, customers will receive an appropriate refund where applicable.
Order Cancellations
Order cancellation requests may be considered prior to shipment at Pirate Cards’ sole discretion.
Submission of a cancellation request does not guarantee cancellation approval.
Fraud Prevention
Pirate Cards reserves the right to:
• Verify customer identity
• Verify billing and shipping information
• Request additional documentation
• Require signature confirmation
• Hold orders for review
• Limit quantities purchased
• Refuse service
• Cancel orders deemed suspicious or high-risk
Condition Standards
Pirate Cards currently sells cards in the following conditions:
Near Mint (NM)
Near Mint cards may contain minor manufacturing imperfections, slight off-centering, or a small blemish. Minor edge wear, corner wear, print imperfections, or barely visible surface imperfections may be present.
Near Mint cards remain collector-quality and are suitable for most collectors and grading submissions.
Lightly Played (LP)
Lightly Played cards contain multiple visible blemishes and may include whitening, edge wear, corner wear, print imperfections, or light surface scratching.
Condition Subjectivity
Card condition assessments are inherently subjective.
Pirate Cards reserves the right to determine card condition according to its internal standards.
Condition disagreements alone do not qualify an item for return, refund, replacement, or compensation.
Product Images
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, product images may not represent the exact item received.
Condition descriptions take precedence over stock images.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pirate Cards shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from the use of its website, products, or services.
Governing Law
These Terms and all related policies shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
